Email Deliverability Problems

As you grow your email marketing efforts, you may notice that some of your emails don't deliver to certain addresses. Deliverability problems can be impacted by a number of different factors.

Email Deliverability Problems

If our platform is unable to deliver to an email address, you'll see one of the following errors.

Drop: We're unable to connect to the recipient's receiving server

Bounce: The receiving server sent the email back to us as undeliverable

It's important for your overall email delivery that we work to keep the number of undeliverables low.  So for future campaigns, we will automatically remove the dropped and bounced emails from your list.

Troubleshooting

If your emails aren't delivering to recipients, we recommend investigating the following possible causes.

Typos

Check to make sure that you spelled the recipient's email correctly. Perhaps you spelled @gmial.com instead of @gmail.com, or mistyped a name. Any simple spelling mistake will prevent your email from reaching your lead!

Purchased Email Lists

You should only be emailing leads who have engaged with your brand and "opted in" to receive communications from you. If purchase or find email lists online, you run a risk of your email domain being marked as "spam" by email providers. This will tank your email marketing effectiveness, so we strongly recommend only emailing leads who have subscribed to your content!

Additional

Email deliverability can also be affected by other factors outside of your control. A recipient's email inbox may be completely full, or their email may have been deleted due to moving employers, etc.
