Video Walkthrough
Watch the video below for a step-by-step walkthrough of connecting your domain.
Connect Your Domain
To begin connecting your domain:
1. Log in to your dashboard
2. Click your company name in the top-left corner
3. Select Connect Domain from the dropdown
4. Click Connect Custom Domain
5. Enter your domain name and click Connect Domain
Once submitted, your dashboard will display the settings needed to connect your website.

Why this step is needed: These settings tell your domain where your website is located so visitors reach your AgentMethods website when they type your web address into their browser.
Add Your Domain Settings
Next, log into the company where your domain is managed, such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains, and update your domain settings.
Two settings typically need to be added or updated:
CNAME Record
Host: www
Value: app.agentmethods.com
A Record
Host: @ (or your root domain)
Value: 44.205.95.2
After adding these settings, return to your dashboard and click Verify.

Note: After updating these settings, it may take a little time before your website begins loading at your domain. This usually happens within a few minutes but can occasionally take a few hours.
SSL & Final Steps
Once your settings are verified, your domain will begin pointing to your website.
An SSL certificate will automatically generate for your site. This allows your website to load securely using https.
What is SSL? SSL adds security to your website and allows it to load using https. Most modern browsers require this to show your website as secure.
SSL certificates usually generate within about 30 minutes but may occasionally take longer.
Troubleshooting
Your domain changes may still be updating
After updating your domain settings, it can take a little time before your website begins loading correctly. In most cases this happens fairly quickly, but it can occasionally take a few hours.
Your settings may not match
Double-check that the CNAME and A Record in your domain provider match the values shown in your dashboard.
Your SSL certificate may still be generating
After connecting your domain, your SSL certificate will generate automatically. During this time your site may briefly show a security warning until everything finishes updating.
Once your domain is connected, you may also want to configure email so messages sent through the platform are sent from your domain.
