Set Up AMPlify Cross-Marketing

With Cross-Marketing, you can schedule a year of automated emails in just a few minutes. 

In just a few minutes, you can create multi-email campaigns on various topics to convert leads. Select from a variety of campaign topics like "Holiday Emails", "Dental and Vision", or "Medicare Part D", and schedule the campaign in seconds! 

This guide walks you through the basics of setting up AMPlify cross-marketing.

Create an AMPlify Campaign 

From your AgentMethods dashboard, select AMPlify on the left navigation tab. Then click Cross Marketing. 

If you are on an "Agent" or "Super Agent" plan, select Email Marketing from the left navigation to see your upcoming campaigns. 

On this page, you'll see a list of all your upcoming AMPlify campaign emails scheduled to be sent out. If this page is blank, don't worry! We'll walk you through how to schedule new campaigns. 

To schedule AMPlify campaigns, click the green AMPlify Settings text on the right side of the Cross Marketing page. 

This will open the AMPlify settings page. 

Set Your Schedule

AMPlify campaigns send out relevant emails two times a month to your contact lists. Start by selecting the days of the month and times that you'd like your marketing emails to send to contacts. 

Be sure to click the green Save Schedule button to save your changes. 

Select Topics

Topics are the backbone of AMPlify campaigns. They let you send the right kind of email to the right contact. After all, there's no use in sending an email about dental/vision coverage to a contact who is only interested in Life Insurance!

Step 1: Tag Your Contacts

While tags aren't strictly necessary for creating AMPlify campaigns, they can help target your campaigns and make them more successful. 

Start by using the tag feature in Contacts to segment your contacts based on insurance and the type of leads they are, such as "Life Insurance", "Medicare, or "Dental/Vision".

Step 2: Manage Topics

Next, select the topics that you'd like your cross marketing email campaigns to cover. 

Click the green + Manage Topics button to the right of the Topics section

This will take you to the Topics page. 

Scroll through this page and check any topic that is relevant to your business and that you'd like to include in your marketing campaigns. 

When you've finished selecting your topics, click the green Submit button to save your changes. 

Step 3: Assign Tags to Topics

Now, you can assign tags to each topic, so that all your contacts receive the right emails for them. 

Star by checking which topics you'd like to assign tags to. There is a checkbox to the left of each topic. 

Once you've selected some topics, click the blue + Add Tags button at the top of the page. 

A pop-up will appear. Here, you can select which of your contact tag groups you'd like to receive the email topics you selected. 

Once you've selected your tags, click the green Save button to save your changes. 

You can also edit the tags for an individual topic by clicking the gray + Manage Tags button to the right of a topic. 

Now, your contacts will only receive cross marketing emails on topics that have been assigned to their contact tag. 

Enable AMPlify Cross Marketing 

Once you've edited all your settings for your cross marketing campaigns, turn everything "on' by toggling the button at the top of the AMPlify cross marketing page.
